Senior executive with more than 20 years of experience within the energy sector, having held executive positions in international energy companies. Has a diverse professional experience with global and regional scopes in the energy commercialization and distribution sectors, including customer care, marketing, after-sales, energy loss management, invoicing, credit management, new customers and revenue assurance as well as in operation and maintenance, human resources and occupational health and safety areas.

Acting as Independent Consultant since 2018, he has delivered consulting projects for energy companies and consulting firms on business strategy, revenue assurance, digitalization, and operations topics.

Holds a master’s degree in renewable energy and energetic sustainability from Universitat de Barcelona (2019), an executive MBA from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2001), a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering production from Pontificia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (1996). Native speaker in Portuguese and fluent in English and Spanish.

Experience

From trainee to statutory director, had a solid career evolution working for the Enel/Endesa/Enersis Group. Worked in the Commercial, Operation and Humans Resources areas, interacting with customers, government, industrial associations, suppliers and cross-functional teams in South America and Europe.

In 2011, Bruno assumed de position of Commercial Director at Enel Rio, responsible for managing and planning business policies, including customer care, marketing, credit collection, operation of the commercial system, new connections, invoicing, billing, payment methods and energy balance in Rio de Janeiro State region. Led a team of 3,000 employees (including third parties) and managed 2.7 million customers.
He subsequently assumed the position of Commercial director at Enel Brazil, responsible for energy loss management, credit collection, commercial system operation, new connections, metering, invoicing, payment methods and energy balance in Rio de Janeiro and Ceará States region. Led a team of 5,000 employees (including third parties) and managed more than 6 million customers.

In 2015, he assumed the position of Infrastructure and Network Operations Director at Enel Rio, responsible for O&M, including, emergency service process, system operations center, maintenance of the electrical network, energy deactivation/reactivation routines, new connections, metering, energy balance and occupational health and safety area in Rio de Janeiro State region. Led a team of 6,000 employees (including third parties) and managed over 3 million customers.

In 2016, Bruno assumed the position of Head of Energy Recovery for Latin America, responsible for energy loss strategy and commercial operations in all Enel operations in Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Peru), supporting the executive management teams in identifying opportunities, developing a strategic approach and implementing initiatives for energy recovery. Reports to the Global Network Commercial Operations Senior Director in Rome, Enel´s headquarter and interacts with cross-functional teams in Europe and Latin America.
At present, he acts as energy independent consultant and member of the chamber of commerce Brazil-Spain.
